Question

A couple more questions:
  1. Are you guys running standard gear ratios in that TH400, or something different?
  2. What final drive gear ratio are you guys running in the differential?

Tell that to Hal, IIRC he cut a 1.4 60ft on that 9.3 run.

Great job on that car guys. Good setup that is obviously working well. +1 on knowing the FD if you want to share...

still running factory gears. we dyno 836 with the 6 speed. the last time we hit the dyno with the 6 speed was @ the dyno day we had, it chewed up the tire on the dyno and hit 762whp.
Video from VTR Z/G dyno shootout/ plus some cruising.

Any pics inside the car/shifter area?

How does it drive around town? Can you describe how that transition was?

Who drove the car for the 9.5 pass?

I don't know any of you (but I know who Vinny is in the pics) so I'm kinda confused as to who did what...which one are you need4boostz?

vinny drove the car, last week i broke my wrist. so in the pics, im he one with the cast.
I (need4boostz) go by "Rocky" at the shop.
we kept the clutch pedal so we can swap it out if we ever choose to. vinny and the crew can change out the tranny in the time it takes to change a clutch, because of some trick parts.

Thanks for the additional pics and info. What's the stall set at and what torque converter do you have in there? Any nitrous used to spool up while on the trans brake?

im not sure what the stall is set at. its a pro torque converter. nitrous was used on one pass, i believe it was a 75 shot that just smoked the tire.
this an iphone video of the nitrous on a luanch.
