Default Shooting for 12's tonight

Well Im taking the car to SGMP tonight to try and run my 12 seconds. I want that slip! I ran a 13.28 @ 108 with a 2.09 60ft months back. Nothing has changed on the car except I now have wheels and tires.

07 5AT with Motordyne art pipes, injen CAI, and a email tune.

The idea is to get there, swap on the wheels/tires (275x45x17 555r) and my buddy is lending me his skinnys for the front. I'll pull the stomp light fuse as to enable to car to do a burn out, do a burn out and hope for the best. Red line is 7900 on the car and I'll be shifting with the triptonic. Hopefully i have a 12 second time slip to provide after hah

Well didn't get my 12 second slip tonight. Sgmp was packed so I only got 5 runs in. Played with a few things and was able to cut the 60 foot down. Think my last pass would have been my best had I not bogged second. Ran 13.3 consistently at 103-107. Ill be back next Friday for that slip.

Learned a few things and found a few tweaks im going to make

What was the difference in weather compared to the time you ran 13.28? What was your 60fts?

I ran 13.30@108.74 in my 04 5AT yesterday the DA was 500 above sea level. Well at least I got my highest trap.

Those are some pretty high trap speeds for for no 12's. What are your 60's?

2.06. I just installed a high stall which for some reason is slowing me down. The old converter I had was slightly modded by edge racing and I was pulling consistent 1.9 and a couple of 1.8's.

Also need to reinstall my Transgo shift kit.

I did my 13.14 with a 1.8 on street tires in 40* weather and -DA with less power.

I was surprised by the high traps also, but it's not a fluke I did it 3 times 108.06, 108.26 and 108.74 and one 107.75.

Something in the first 330 is slower than before I'm trapping 81 in the 1/8th I figure it's the shifts since I'm running a stock VB at the moment.
