Default Wtf drag strip fail

Ok went to my local strip this weekend to test my roughly stock base 07 hr. And itll do a burnout in the pit as long as i dont touch the brake. Well couldnt really get the tires to stick because of that. As soon as i touched the brake. Power would stop. Its a base model so no vdc. Wtf is wrong with it. Never drove a car that did that...

Man, if you touch the brake, it stops not just the front 2 tires, but the rear 2 too! You need a break adapter which allows you to reroute the brake fluid to only brake the front 2 tires.

It's called throttle cut, and what kind of tires were you trying to heat up ? A quick spin with a normal street tire is all that is needed.

From my understanding, with base models, you don't have to pull the brake fuse?? I was able to do a burnout while holding the brake. (Heating up slicks)

The car should still close the throttles when you hit the brakes, as a safety feature to prevent toyota stuck throttle issues.
