How exactly did you do the burnout... not to sound like I am an idiot and don't know how to drive but i tried doing burn out's in my 6mt and i couldn't keep them spinning for more than 5-10 seconds.. they spin then start catching and stop.. not sure if the tires were already to warm or this.. i heard that you want to start burnout's in 2nd gear and dump at 3k rpms? this so? btw i dumped in 1st ranging at all rpms above 3k.
Due to the drive by wire throttle in the Z, you MUST pull the fuse in the drivers kick panel labeled brake. This disables the sytems and lets you do a standing burnout. Once pulling the fuse, just dump the clutch at around 3500 and as soon as the tires start spinning apply the brakes. Then just keep on the throttle as long as you want. Since I go to the track alot, I bypassed the fuse and wired a toggle switch to the circuit so whenever I need to shut it off, I just flip the switch.......
