i took a trip to my local junkyard and picked up a pair of 15x6 inch rims from a 90 something maxima. They fit fine and clear the brakes on my G sedan. I got a set of 15x8 by 26.5 slicks used waiting to go on.

I am on a budget, if you have a decent amount of money to burn, trial fit a rim from a junkyard on your car and calculate the size rim you want.

I suggest a 15x10 rim with a backspacing of as close to 5" as you can find.

Guru's help: I forgot how to calculate backspacing. melissa wait until you know what backspacing is before you buy some slicks.

another option is 17 inch slicks but the price goes up and the selection goes down.

It is not on my stock ride height G sedan. on the Z the suspension is lower, but there looks like there is all kinds of room for the tire to wiggle. There is a good couple a paragraphs on www.mickeythompsontires.com to calculate how much room you need for tire growth.
