Jonsilvz, that was cool, glad we didn't get caught by that cop. Sorry for breakin out like that, didn't want to get my car taken away. As for the runs we did, its tough when there's no light or someone to flag, we went on the 3rd beep. Almost every race i spun through 1st with some bad wheel hop and just threw it into second. We raced on a side road off the beach that had alot of sand on it. I could not bring the revs up 2k because i would just spin, as we had to restart a few times. I did a quick drop from idle and hit it. I did not powershift 1-2 or 2-3, only 3-4 i did. We were pretty much even til the end of 3rd where I started pulling. Anyhow great fun, but I'd rather do it on the track with better conditions. Later

I called lemieux up to come race too, but he was scared to get beat by JonsilvZ...lol. No he said he was shot from work but he's down to do it over the weekend. NY 350z I'm racing frank tonight with the procharged Z and his boy with a highly modded altima. ATI 350z (frank) jus got his car tuned and dynoed i think at around 335 rwhp, the guy said it should def be in the 12's. He took me for a ride the other day and its definately quick.

Anthony you have a factory freak and also your great driving. I think you could beat most 333hp M3s and LS1 Fbodies for sure. I need a Popcharger and dual exhaust to help my top end

 

injen combined with test pipes ****EN LOUD and def feel a difference top end.

 

I dont want it too loud. Its my daily driver so a little louder is ok. So test pipes is out of the question. Ive been reading about the Popcharger not supercharger. They say it has pretty good gains for a cone filter. Combine it with the duals and it should be loud enough for me. Probably gain like 2mph in the 1/4..

 

I have beat these cars...A friend of mine has a new M3 and I thought he was going to kill me as I read that our Z can't hang with these cars, which is true, but they are closely matched which makes it a drivers race. Another friend had an old style E36 M3, which was also no match, he now has an S2K...again no match. My girlfriends cousin has an 02 trans am conv't with an auto. I raced him on Robert Moses (near where you and I just raced) and I beat him everytime, weather it was from a roll or a stop.

 

S2K are slugs off the line I always beat them. Even from a 80-120 I got him by a couple cars.

Sure he was racing? You said NEW M3... Very common to see them do low 13's stock... You might have a SH-T load of mods or a turbo for all I know though??? But, even a bolted 350 couldn't beat an 04 M3 in the 1/4 with the same drivers/equal. If he misses a gear or two...maybe

 

Not to start a thread war but, My best friend has a 03 M3 SMG and my other friend has an 02 6spd M3 and my Z hangs right there with them and actually pulls a little in 3rd gear. I also have done a 13.4 in the 1/4 with my slipping clutch so it is very possible for a N/A Z to hand with an M3....
