Couple ?'s about launching and 350z suspension setup
I just had a couple questions for you guys that maybe you could help me with. First, what is the weight ratio of our cars from front to back and also the ratio side to side?? I know the ideal is 50/50 for drag racing an to aquire a good launching car. Also is it possible to have the front sway bar unbolted to get a better launch. For example a buddy of mine runs a 67 camaro in the superstock class and he unbolts the front sway so when the car leaves off the line, the front raises up and shifts all the weight to the rear. He also preloads the right rear suspension to compensate for the weight of the motor as it torques as well as adjusts the fourlink. Can this be done with the 350z to maybe cut down on some 60' times? Only drawback is the front end hopping the car will do at the end of the track due to lack of a swaybar on the front. Anyone got any ideas?
