Newbie Needs Help!!! Ahh!!!
I tried launching at 2000-2500 rpm but as soon as I drop my clutch I have MAD WHEEL SPIN!!! I literally stand there burning my tires for a good 3 seconds, I read on another thread that I have to "feather the clutch" but how do I go about doing this? How do I get rid of Wheel spin and catch traction quicker?
Any help or suggestions will GREATLY be appreciated!
Something else I was wondering, is the stock clutch strong enough to handle power shifting? I've heard 1st to 2nd is safe, can I do it for other gears? Another BIG THANKS!
Much thanks in advanced!!!

When I was having issues similiar to yours with my old base model I would launch with the clutch out 1/2 way and barely rev the engine I ran a 13.7@104 at the track with just an intake doing this. With my new 04 enthusiest (I ran a 13.9@101 with my stillen exhaust) which i take it is what you have reading your profile, than you should try pulling the clutch out a little and rev to 2000-2500 rpms you should only get a little wheel hop.Or go full clutch in and barely rev your engine up. that is the perk with having torque its not like a 4 banger where you need to rev it up to 7000rpms. Feathering the clutch would be slowly pulling it out rather than popping the clutch. hope that helped you out a little bit just my 2 cents on some of my experiences, for the best 1/4 mile times I could run.
Thanks 03redlineZ, I thought noone would respond!
I just wait and half throttle it, and after I feel my tires stopped spinning I floor it, I think this cuts down on my time better then sitting there burning rubber for 2-3 seconds, Thanks again 03redlineZ!!
