I say, use whatever you can find used at your local tire shop. Tires usually only last one good event so it can add up real fast.

word. I get mine from dealerships, i found out that it cost them money to despose of them so i collect the garbage. Burning potenzas and poilots for free is the way to be.

Great idea Konspec! How much tread do you usually get?

I usually pay anywhere from $40-$60 a tire for used tires.

My favorite drifting tire would have to be the Bridgestone Turanza EL42. I've had better tires, but none that gripped as well while lasting as long as this tire. The stock Potenzas grip nice, but they grind down rather fast and are prone to chunking. I got my hands on some used Yokohama AVS, and though they gripped awesome, I wore those f#@%ing things down in about an hour.

I use Falken ST-115's up front, and Dunlop FM901's in the rear. 235/45/17 all around on stock wheels.

The Falkens are pretty grippy, so I use those up front to reduce the understeer to give more of a nuetral feel. The dunlops are still pretty grippy but not as much. They also smoke pretty good. The don't chunk and strip off like shitty stock potenzas.

I plan to try some ES100's at my next drift day. I will post a my opinions then
