Hey, just checked the price for the Irwindale event. $225 for the beginner package? I'm looking at the schedule for the day and it looks like the intermediate group and beginner groups share the day evenly. When do the classes take place for the novice groups if there are any?

to my knowledge theres only two groups

i believe the novice group will have instructors during their track time. and that the majority of the day will consist of donuts and figure 8's till the afternoon when they could be running the actualy couse.

the intermediate should be running the course all day in their run groups. but as the registration says, u probably need 2-3 events to be comfortable around the track.

I only see 6 people that signed up. Is this event going to happen regardless? or do we def need 20 peepz or more? Cmon people sign up!!! :icon11:

Isn't the event limited to Z and G's? If not then a friend and I might be down to register.

I will pay tommorow. I just got back from seattle, what a trip.

03Z33 08-23-2006 10:04 PM

I saw some video from Seatle, looked like a fun course! How'd you do? I only saw runs from top 8 and top 16 qualifiers...

See you Sunday!

just so everyone knows, spectators aren't aloud at this event, so dont tell people to come in the middle of the day, because they will just be turned away.

No, take care of it prior.

See you all on Sunday...

:)

03Z33 08-25-2006 06:15 PM

not on-site, but there are a few local places that are always open that can take care of it...

mrtomcat 08-25-2006 07:31 PM

what are you talking about?

You change tires in the parking structure where you setup camp. Irwindale is a full blown race track.

If you're asking for a place that will change tires for you then 1) you need to learn how to do that yourself and 2) I'm sure there are plenty of other participants that will help you, don't waste money on that

mrtomcat 08-25-2006 07:32 PM

oh....of course unless you're talking about installing tires on the rims...then yes you need to go somewhere else :)

CdaZ 08-25-2006 07:40 PM

lol...to swap tires not rims. I have two sets for the rear, but just incase i burn through them i wanted to know if they had an on sight tire mounting shop. It is sunday, so im sure most places might be closed.

Don't worry, there's a 24hr. truck tire place just down the road that always takes care of us on Sundays :icon38:
