Default is an lsd required to drift?

im getting the base model but would like to drift. do i need the lsd or will i lose control?

i suggest you getting a cheaper car to LEARN on before trying something like that on a Z. And yes LSD will help A LOT.

yes you need a lsd. you can always buy an aftermarket lsd for your base model. I suggest that because the stock lsd's cannot handle the heat from drifting anyway. when they get hot, they lose their locking ability.

and 350Z's are excellent cars to learn with, they come with good power and enough steering angle (and if you get a diff...). just make sure you are in a safe place when you drift!

no need for LSD! go to drift411.com and search the feb 3rd valentines drift event and i got the interlagos fire Z( i think the only z there) and you will see how well i did with an open diff. just remember that when you do the search you got to pics! hope this helps and if you need any pointers just PM me.it was so easy that you dont even need the e-brake and i never even had to clutch kick.all wieght transfer.
