Default Drifting insurance

For some reason our insurance is going up for us to do our local drift events. It's gone from $500 to $1000 per event. We have anywhere from 10 to 20 people per event. Between lot fees and insurance events are now 115 per driver as where before it was 60. Not a huge problem but most locals don't wanna pay that much to slide a 86 corolla in a parking lot lol. So I was wondering what insurance other people are going threw for their events. I have been looking and researching as well. Trying to get cheaper insurance is crucial for our events to keep on going. We have a 1 million dollar umbrella coverage as of now.

Hey Zach,
I work as an commercial insurance underwriter/broker, and in coincidence, I also love to drift. I may be able to help you find a better market, or at least point you in the right direction... but I cant guarantee success. Let me know via reply or PM if you want some insider help with this stuff. Unfortunatley I cant directly sell insurance, as I am not an agent. I just evalueate risk and I decide how much the insureance premium will be. However, if everthing fell into place ( and i mean quite a few varibles), and you are serious about wanting to buy, I could possibly make some calls and make magic happen lol.

rates around here were going up a lot, but adding more cones, hey bales, kwalls, safety crews, and better waivers have started to bring the prices back down.
