doesnt really matter, just dont get ebay ones.

and im against the really deep dish ones, with hub and quick release it pokes out far enough already

It's all personal preference, man. I, personally, have the Momo Race07 (or Race06, can't remember). It's basically the same as the Momo drifting, except it only has one center marker, no "drifting" embroidery and is black with a yellow marker. It cost me $170, and is a solid wheel.

For your reference, the stock steering wheel is 368.3mm in diameter.

Also as Ian said, with the hub and quick release it already moves the wheel closer to you. I have a slightly dished one, and personally I love it being closer so it made me very happy. Did have to get use to it though.

Look into Grip Royal. I love their wheels, actually I finally ordered one for my Z since I got rid of my 240.

Thumbs up

Honestly the only down side to grip royal is the wait time (atleast right now because everyone bought one for christmas or on their black friday sale.) Since they are all custom made, not to mention they will make them completely custom wheel if you have a crazy idea for one, they hold up well and they stand behind their work. I have many friends who have them in their drift cars and daily drivers that absolutely love them and have had them for over a year with zero complaints. But once you get it and unpackage it, it is recommended to let it sit in a warmer room for 48 hours before install to make sure the paint is fully cured. I ordered the Royal Hills for my Z and am buying a NRG short hub and the NRG 2.5 quick release.

It's all personal preference like Deedilus said. And I know all you cool kids are all about the JDM but don’t knock USDM. I’m rocking a Grant steering wheel that’s badass and tuff as nails. Oh yea and total was like $60.

I had a Grant in my old 64.5 mustang and I liked it a lot. Nothing wrong with them at all, I just wanted something different in the Z.

Yeah. I love Grant. I may have them as a second wheel. It would actually go great with my Budwieser shift ****, but just like Spirtle, I want something a bit custom and different. It really has nothing to do with JDM for me. And, I'm sure once I finish my interior, I'll have some choice words given...cuz you know...Infiniti is luxury and all.

Hey, do you have just the wheel and quick release or do you have the adapter as well? I ask because I'm thinking of grabbing the adapter so the wheel doesn't stick out to infiniti and beyond

With the QR it is about an inch closer to you than stock but honestly it feels more comfortable to me especially when driving hard.
