hello, right now i'm running exedy stage 1 organic. starting to slip after driving for a while....was wondering if there was another clutch that would hold better.......currently running greddy twin turbo kit on car....at 5.5 psi. was thinking maybe act or centerforce......also, is there an aftermarket throw out bearing? I'm already on my second oem one after installing exedy clutch with fidanza flywheel.....thanks for any info.

 

i would try atleast an act 6 puck sprung setup, that would do much better with that sort of power

 

My mechanic tried steering me away from act....is there any reason? says he installed act clutches in two different vehicles, and had bad results.......are the multi-plate clutches streetable? how is the pedal feel on those? so many questions.......starting to get overwhelmed trying to decide on what to run on the car. thanks again for any info.

yeah, i talked to the guys at spec clutch...came across another post on this site. think i'm gonna look for something in the area of 400 425 whp. that's what i should be putting out after i have the car tuned, want to get everything together before i tune it. don't want to have the current clutch to fail after i spend the time to tune it......thanks
