Ok, since I already have this thread another question. My room mate owns a 2011 Civic Si but we fight on how to break in a clutch properly. He says you have to get on it hard, but not full throttle constantly for the first 500 miles. His reasoning is that if you are getting on it hard whenever we mess around on the street constantly, it will wear faster, but if you kinda get on it during the break in period, it will be more accustomed to the harsh treatment... -.-

I say you just baby the car for the firs 500 && trying to just get as much stop and go action as you can. Any word of advice. ? Thanks again!

Most clutch manufacturers will want you to break it in easily. No excessive slipping or loading, like launching hard or wide open pulls, or just slipping the clutch too much going up a hill etc.

Other than that it's more about how many times the clutch is engaged vs. mileage put on the clutch. If you drive around town for an hour or so a day most clutches would do just fine after a week or so.

Wow!! I'll be there this Saturday and I'll puck this deal up and will be inquiring about a stage 1 long block.

Can I buy this online and pick it up? Kinda scared to see how much tax will rape me on this. But great deal!

We can work out a deal for pickup and drop the price a bit since we don't have to ship it. That way the taxes don't bend you over so bad. We aren't open on Saturday but maybe we can arrange to be there if you have a specific time in mind. Give us a call. 281-288-0700
