anyone know if this will fit a Z already equipped with a vlsd? if so what else would I need to make it work?

thinking about getting this and putting an aftermarket LSD in it.

 

It would bolt right up, no modification needed as long as both Z's are manuals. Just put the aftermarket LSD in it and bolt it up. But this would only HELP you if you're going with Nismo, OS Giken or Quaife aftermarket LSD's as those are the ones that are direct bolt in into open differential housings. Some aftermarket LSD's are a direct bolt in to VLSD equipped pumpkins.. so do your research. And the only difference for the whole pumpkin between an open diff and a VLSD car is the output shaft on one side of the pumpkin is different. It's the same outside the pumpkin though.. so they're interchangeable. It just protrudes farther into the inside of the pumpkin on one which is why some aftermarket LSD's are direct replacement to open diff an some into the VLSD diff. You can always put any aftermarket LSD into an open diff, but you would have to buy the extra output shaft if it's not a Quaife, OS Giken, etc.
