Hi Kaveh,

Cool, I will give him a shout. May I ask how much he charged you for your rims? M3's are probably 18's.
I have some road rash (one pretty bad) from the previous owner. I have heard that powder coating can actually repair it? is there any truth to this and was this the reason you re-did your wheels?

Thanks,

R

I am pretty sure for powder coating, your rims need to be in good condition..or else they will charge you more for repairing it. Cause I try to powercoat my stockers on my TL before, and all of the shops said they can't do it unless they repair the rash first.

Hey thanks man,

I just confirmed with the shop on hwy7 that it should be ok.

The road rash is not as bad as I had initially thought it was.

Hey man,

After further inspection, the damage was really minimal and I choose not to go through with the powder coating. But while in the process I found many shops in toronto that offered the service.

Some Auto shops quoted me $200+ per rim, I found this to be a little high.
When I contacted the powder coaters directly they quoted me $60 per rim...

Do a search on "powder coating toronto", then call around. Prices will vary.

Cheers,

R
