I'm looking for a recommendation of a local shop (preferably in the West End of GTA - Mississauga/Brampton/Etobicoke) that has experience with this issue.

I have a 2004.5 that is getting progressively noisy. The OE potenzas have done about 30k and my Z now sounds like a 747 when I'm slowing down and there's a continual 'roar' on the highway. The tires still have good life left. There are signs of wear on the inside edges but not a massive amount. I was intending to get the alignment checked/adjusted to prolong the tire life before they totally get screwed-up.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

 

if you're still covered under warranty, you might be able to get the recall done for free from the dealership.

i got the alignment change and new tires for free.

 

My 3 year warranty expired on March 31, 2007. I didn't realize this could be rectified f.o.c. under warranty after the car is > 1 year old. Damn!
