My Z + Adventure in DSLR Land (56k death)
I've decided to move my picture posting from my DSLR practice shots to the local forums so i dont' keep bumping my thread on Media share even though i haven't done anything new to the car haha.
So here's the "acceptable" shots i've done so far with my D80 so far...feel free to comment on the photo composition/technique/etc.
These shots are in chronological order, so hopefully you'll see an improvement as I post more shots :P
Thanks guys and I hope you enjoy!

get a new tripod y0! it was too loose which will screw you over in the long run, especially for long exposure.
step by step on my thoughts, if you ever want some tips lmk.
1. awesome angle, although there isn't enough light thus washing out the details. another step back and to the left might have revealed some light from elsewhere in the garage.
2. out of focus & lights are starred a bit, but just looks like the tripod may have moved just a bit from when you were taking the picture.
3. fantastic, this is an excellent shot, although it would have been soooo much better if the lot was empty, but nothing you could have done about it, so as it stands, fantastic!
4. sleek, sexy, smooth and quite devious. i love this shot on an abstract level alone.
5. what can be said other than SDF FTMFW.
6. once again, nice use of the SDF. Brings the attention to what's important, and is really contrasted by the reflections. nice work jay

Weird, in Firefox I only get 1 photo (close-up of the Z emblem), in IE I get 2 shots (1 front quarter, 1 rear corner), nice shots regardless but (and I don't know a thing about photography) definitely a touch more light would help bring out a few more of the cars lines, looks good though (sick car too).

i think something was going on with photobucket....seems to be working now.
thanks for all the props guys! gives me warm and fuzzy feelings about my car
thanks for the tips kevin! but yo, i figured out what was wrong with the tripod. I didn't loosen one of the *****, so when i was turning the camera it screwed off the bracket instead! haha, It's a good tripod!
