Default nissan USA extended warranty transferrable to canada?

I am looking at buying a 350z from the USA soon. Some of the cars I am looking at have the extended Nissan ASP warranty good for 75k miles or 6 years. Does anyone know if this warranty is transferrable to Canadians?

Thanks

What do you mean by very rarely? One would figure that there would be a definite policy allowing the transfer or prohibiting it.

Here is what I found
Nissan Canada

1-800-387-0122

5290 Orbitor Drive, Mississauga, ON L4W 4Z5

Delayed Warranty Coverage

Nissan vehicles must first be registered in U.S. for coverage to apply. If the car moves to Canada after it is six months old the warranty will be valid. However, if a U.S. market car is brought to Canada and sold before the car is six months old, the warranty will be void.

This is exactly what I was told the firt time I brought my US purchased Z in for service. Turned out I was good by only one month -- the car had been previously registered for 7 months

Apparently Nissan Canada brought in this policy in May 2006 to counter all the cars coming up from the US and being stuck with covering warranty repairs on a vehicle they had no part (or dollars earned) in importing. Nissan Canada and Nissan USA although both Nissan, they are operated as two separate entitities.
