well did hours of driving today looking at Audi's and BMW's as a new DD.
Let me now objectively say that Audi A4s are terribly over rated.
328xi is superior to the A4 2.0T quattro in every way.
Steering feel in the Audi is overly light, and imprecise. The seats in the Audi suck. The leather sucks. I've heard different opinions on their awd systems, but BMW's seemed to destroy the Audi. I went to a snow covered mall parking lot and did some basic handling tests. The Audi was loose as hell. One second under steering the next over steering. And steering input was so vague that you kinda just had to guess how to correct properly. BMW's system was far more balanced. When it came to stability control and traction control it wasn't even close.
The Audi 2L T sucks. At least the I6 sounds nice and has some torque.
Anyways, I liked the 328xi so much I think I will splurge a little bit and get a 335xi.
I put an offer on a 328xi today but someone else outbid me on it and I wasn't going to get into a bidding war.

The price difference isn't that huge. I'm a little concerned about the High Pressure Fuel Pump issues with the 335.....
Did you know all 3 series from the 323, 328, and 335 all have the same basic a 3.0 motor? I didnt. It used to be that the last 2 digits signified the displacement in L. But all the 3 series have 3 liter. Just HP differences and TT's on the 335. Weird.

based on the bulletproof reliability ratings of the 328xi and the mediocore ratings ofthe 335xi I put another offer out on a 328xi today. Afterall it's a daily driver and I have a kid on the way. No need to get all crazy.
Yay, I pick up my "new" BMW tomorrow!
I got a Blue on Black '08 328xi with 41000 km on it.
Loaded except for Nav.
1 owner lease return. I got it for 1000 over trade in so I felt that was a fair deal.

Anyone want a 2002 hyundai accent with lots of adventures under it's belt? haha
I honestly might keep it to run it in King of the Hill before donating it
