I kind of hate myself for starting a long project on the Z, even with that nice weather coming soon, I wont get to drive the Z until June probably...

a small teaser

Btw, no its not a weak wrapping but an hybrid carbon fiber / blue Kevlar .

I was 24 when I got mine, it was almost new. It went straight to my head.... I had a condo too.
I'll have it sold after I'm dead.

I got mine in 2004. I was also 24. A decade of ownership.

That splitter is my old from 2011/2012 season, it is now quite too small but this is just temporally until I start the next splitter project soon.

yeah there was some ideas taken from a few different series DTM / JGTC / Time attack cars...

there is more to come because this is just the Ver1.0 body
but the big issue is power which I cant easily add at this point...

that was the plan after blowing up the VVEL engine. The current HR engine stroked to 3.7 from the VHR crank/rods is ready to receive any type of big cams if needed since I did the cams clearing process while putting the engine back together.

this was in the winter of 2013 then the wife left, leaving me with debt !
so that project was put on hold.

The competition has step up since the last time I went on the track. Ive seen more F/I setup and LS swap than I use to in the pass. The N/A version of the VQ would be too expensive to run properly which need other modification needed to get the RPM needed and power.

At this moment I am looking to make my own Single turbo setup. Doing everything myself will reduce the price of the setup much lower.

I'd say not bad depending on condition and history.

those are vastly different cars. Hard to compare them. If the engine was built like that it was likely supercharged or turbo charged before?

I mean no one does that unless they need to. Maybe they sold the supercharger and are selling it as is.

They are awesome wheels. I think people love/hate the red stripe, but I dig it.
