Ok this is just too hilarious not to share. I just came from a meeting with the base "release" section. It appears the army has screwed up an audit, and very very possibly owes me an additional 26K. The minimum amount they owe me in addition is 8K. But since they can't prove they didnt' screw up my holiday documents from when I was in school, it will likely be 26K. Haha. funny. yes, I know annoying as well.
