Whats up with that I thought they would be really close in size?

I will have to increase the height of the car with the coilovers for these to fit is that normal?
taller then what? .. .what about your volks

Well when I put the new front 18x245x40 up against the current 19x245x35 and measured the hight diff it appears the new 18`s are loke nearly 1 inch taller.

It could be tread wear, and the weight of the car on the 19`s I guess, but it seams like the 18`s wont fit without raising the height of the car.

Wicked wheels did it for $200. Still wish I could get a new one for spare.

Dave, it could be that the tires on your 19s are slightly stretched...so your 18s look taller. If you still have your oems, try comparing the three together.
