if it had brembo's i'd call dibs.
judging from the pic. The dude probably had shitty tires and was driving too fast for the weather (it was pouring rain last night), so i'm guessing he hydroplaned.

I don't think it matters how good the tires are to have a car split in two like that under last night's weather conditions.

oh sh*t ,i just saw that on the news. Some of us have no "self preservation" gene , last night`s rain dictated a serious amount of common sense regardless of the quality of tires or driver skill
That's just sad.
The thing that pisses my off about accidents, especially, when it envolves a sports car is that the name of the car is always printed in the article or mentioned in the news clip. I'm quite sure if this unfortunate incident happened with a mini-van or another non-discript car it wouldn't be mentioned.
