Default Got ripped off, Anyone in Montreal?!!?

Ok, so here is the original thread...

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/361648-procharger-kit-almost-new-with-fmic-and-more.html

the short story is...I bought a procharger off a guy, Kevin Bellemare. It showed up damaged. He tells me he cut me a deal on the unit and can not give me any money for the damage. I blow it off when it was one piece damaged. Now, there are several pieces missing and/or damaged which cost quite a bit to replace.

He still claims he shouldn't have to do anythign about it.

Maybe I'm just an idiot...but when I sold a Seibon hood to a guy...and it showed up damaged, i took the hood back...gave him his money back...and I dealt with the shipping company. All I'm asking is for him to give me what I bought. It'd cost him a couple to a few hundred bucks to make it right. He doesn't seem to eager to do this.

He's been on the forum several times each day, but refuses to comment back on the thread where I posted to him since his inbox was full...

Needless to say....I'm not happy...

you should have known better if the guy only has 69 posts...secondly i don't know if you used paypal but whatever you used to wire the money, get in touch with whoever you need to in order to try and get a refund. lastly the guy that sold you this should feel guilty for selling you an incomplete procharger and listing it as complete.

he finally replied on teh paypal dispute site...he says it left canada in perfect shape...well, i dunno about you guys, but fine, lets say the damaged parts are due to shipping....WHAT ABOUT THE MISSING ONES?! did the rough handling vaporize some parts? I strongly doubt it!!!

oh well, if he doesn't do something, it'll go to a full blown complaint in paypal, hopefully then I can at least recover SOME of my money...

Default that sucks

yeah the guy should have at least told you everything that was damaged before shipping it. That is why I am in no hurry to sell my vortech kit. Word get's around and I have personally been burned like this and that is why I refuse to do it to another person. I just hopefully the next person to buy mine get's a UTEC and has better luck than me.

that sucks. If I were you I would probably try to hunt the guy down, that is $3600 that lost for a broken piece of machinery. Hope you figured some way to deal with this

Wow, I was very close to buying that kit too

Something seemed off about the condition of the blower and parts in the pics...didn't really look like it had only 150 miles on it

It was probably bad luck to put ATI in your sig before installing it.

He wouldn't take $3000 picked up from me, now i see why. To tell you the truth I probably wouldn't even have noticed due to all my giddiness

Tabernac!!

My boxes were new and you said by pm there were damaged at your house so why you aint complain about it when you got the boxes???

this was his last post in the original thread before he decided to close it.

And to address his questions...i DID say something about it...however, USPS does not cover Canada Post claims. So...I took pictures of the boxes and made note of their condition.

In any case, you have explained away the DAMAGED goods (in my opinion, the goods were broken when I got them..why do i care how they were broken...all I know is that i bought a "perfect condition kit"...not a damaged one)...but, anyways, what about the MISSING goods?

that's probably why he wasn't going for local pick up...if I drove all the way down to montreal only to find that it was abused, broken and missing parts I would have flipped on him

I told you the air filter has a hole for this its ok, the pulley was in PERFECT SHAPE when i shipped it, how can you broke that part, can you say??? Its like almost impossible and anyway i dont fuc*** care what youre thinking, i know im not a lyar. As for the 45degrees intercooler connector, i was not having any power steering relocation thing too so why you **** me off with that parts, i never had them so how could i know theres one? I told you ill try to contact the shipping company when possible, its holiday in here so it will be in 2 days. Stop bashing about me, i was not on this forum since about 1week or more , its my start page thats why you see me online for a sec sometimes. BTW i answer all your pms and paypal things.

BTW THE KIT WAS FOR SALE IN HERE LOCAL SO STFU IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT. I WAS NOT EVEN SCARRED TO SELL THAT KIT IT WAS IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE WHEN IT WAS SENT, THE ONLY THING WAS THE AIR FILTER AND I TOLD IT TO AUSTIN!!!!!

For a kit that only had 150 miles on it, it should be in new condition. I feel your pain. I got a used vortech kit that the guy said everything was there. I had to get a new intercooler and oil return and feed lines.

I acknowledged the fact that you told me about the air filter BEFORE buying...which is why i never tried to get money out of it.

I never called you a liar...I just stated the facts.

FACT 1: You sold me a kit that was supposed to be complete, and nearly perfect

FACT 2: I received an incomplete kit that had damaged parts.

FACT 3: I told you about 1 of the damaged parts immediately, and you basically blew it off, saying you cut me a deal on the kit already

FACT 4: I let it drop, figuring it wasn't worth it over a single pulley

FACT 5: More issues with the kit arose as I installed it...that's when I started asking for something to be done.

Quite honestly, I don't care what condition it was in 1 hour before I got to 1 year before I got it. All i know is that i paid for a complete, perfect kit (minus air filter)...and I didn't get it.

How did the shipping company mess up that pulley? Well it was on the bottom of the box, connected to the supercharger...they probably dropped the box, denting the teeth on the pulley, but how do i know. How did some of the parts come up missing? I don't know...I just know the instructions said to install some stuff...and I didn't have the items in your box of parts. That's all I can see from my end...get the picture?

I asked the guy at the post office BEFORE I signed for them...he told me that Canada Post would have to handle it...not USPS. What else am I supposed to do?

IF you are going to deal with it...then good! That's all I wanted. How am I supposed to know you sign on for a split second? All I see is that you logged on...and had ignored me for days. When you spend lots of money, and suddenly stop getting responses...it makes you a little nervous. Put yourself in my shoes, I'm sure you'll understand.
