They are set to arrive from Cali by end of next week, or early after the long w/end.

Because you don't want to *** up the polish lips Some cleaners can actually harm the finish.

yup, i've heard that some "clearcoat safe" rim cleaners are still too harsh for the volk clearcoated and anodized lip. On the safe side stick with car soap and water. The brake dust already comes off the wheels pretty easily if you keep them clean on a regular basis (ie, don't let it cake on).

If you have oem brake pads, be prepared to hate them haha.

I think i've summed it up, but doesn't hurt to give this thread a read over.

Oh yea, be careful when you wipe the lip, you wanna make sure there's no rocks or whatever on the mitt/towel/sponge you're cleaning your rims with...but i guess that goes for anything when you're washing the car. I basically treat my rims the same way i treat the body of the car.
