You obviously don't know what a BRE car is, or whats under the hood of one.

Different standards? Yeah we do.

I'm not concerned with what's under the hood of it, it's just way too rare and special of a chassis to be a track ****. To me it's like "I know, let's take one of these cars, that there are barely any left of, and most of the ones that are left are total rotboxes, and lets put it in harm's way on a regular basis"
But hey, you seem to not care, so that's not my problem.

yeah so taking a 240z and making it into what was one of the historical fairlady Z track cars is me not caring....

you don't know what you are talking, but he you don't seem to care, so thats no my problem. ok carry on then....

Oh and btw, most people take 240z's to the track bacause the majority of them are in bad shape, and putting in another motor and having fun on the track is inexpensive. There are entire forums dedicated to people doing this. Kind of shocking that you are clueless to this.

Ok i'm going to stop responding to you, since you are out to lunch on what I am talking about.

I'm sorry, did I ever call you an idiot or say you're out to lunch? Come on man, learn to be civil before you open your mouth. Is this how you converse with someone that disagrees with you? That's pretty immature.

Commenting to me that we must have different standards, and then adding a "haha" after that sounds quite immature and rude. You didn't comment to start a discussion, you commented to make a snide remark. The fact that you didn't think I would respond so forwardly is something you might have to come to grips with - it happens.

Being civil before opening your mouth sounds like a wonderful idea...perhaps you should follow it instead of simply preaching it.

Don't expect to spark a fire and not get a few arm hairs burned along the way. I have nothing against you, I don't even know you, or think poorly of you...you just posted something that seemed to me to be uncalled for. I explained why...and that is all. You don't know what a BRE car is, and you clearly seem unaware of a huge amount of people that take 240z cars to the tracks.

Think about it, maybe one day we will come face to face and talk about this over a beer at a Z meet. I will be all smiles, no anger in sight

Next weekend, mosport - vintage racing. It's free, and you will see 240z's on the track. In case you want to see this phenomenon in action.

I guess it was a misunderstanding then. It's my personal belief that it is a waste to race and as such endanger, a classic. I know classic racing exists, but me, I feel bad about it. These cars are rare, with precious few examples left. It's my belief that they should be restored, and taken care of, with racing duties falling to a cheaper, more easily sourcable chassis. Something that's a dime a dozen, like an S13.

^You fail at driving cars the way they are meant to be driven.

My car's rare, and expensive for its age. I still drive the hell out of it and try to keep it in good condition, you gotta enjoy it in order to appreciate it.

I think you're getting old, turning into one of those guys who granny drive their restored garage queen.

I really dun think you can call your car classic dude A car also has to be desirable, old in itself doesn't make a classic
