It's a common winter wheel with nissan/infiniti in mind, sometimes sold by dealers. Usually they make those so they are also brembo friendly. Ive seen 1 or 2 350's rocking the same winter wheels as me.

Anyways, serious questions here. Since the punishment is so extreme, at what point do people decide you might as well just keep going? I doubt officers are willing to hang with you at 250, if they even can. You're already getting 6 demerit points, you might as well go for 7. I'm not positive, but I don't think they engage in pursuits at that point.

this guy is one of the reason's to why our insurance rates are so high in Toronto...

I would never go that fast in my Z unless i was on a track or speedway..

What a nut-case

I think most i have hit in the 350z was 140 and it was by accident, was not really paying attention to the speed and just cruzing at night, average i go on highway is 110-120. Or even 100 for the sake of enjoying the drive in a Z.

"Police were able to pull over the speeder thanks to their intercept radar initiative, in which one officer scans the driver’s speed and radios two officers about 600 metres away, who activate their emergency lights and pull on to the highway before the vehicle approaches them, Woodford said."

So? they're not doing anything close to 250 (they couldn't if they tried) and they're not going to run you off the road. Just keep going. The penalty for both is pretty much identical so you might as well go for it

I`ve maxed out the speedo. Caused a pucker factor of 10 though. What`s truly nuts about this performance is that this stretch of highway has some of the biggest and deepest craters in the GTA. Pay the fine dude ...ouch .you`re lucky to be alive

Not really, i like to enjoy my ride and not get there as soon as possible. i have maxed out tsx at 225. I remember i was stupid when i was 16 driving all stupid and aggressive. Now i just go speed limit or even below on streets in the x5, laying back and enjoying the vibrations caused by 1000watt subs and nice tunes going in and out of my ears.

When i am in the z, most of the time my music is off and i jsut listen to the notes the exhaust produces as i go though rpms. its truly a pleasure to own and drive the z

Also, 350z is a hot car, cops dont like it much, so i dont want to irritate them by way above the limit, a 10er is fine by me, nothing above that.

I don't have any problem with the police at all in my car, I haven't been pulled over in a really long time. I'm also 32 and have a clean driving record and don't act like a punk when speaking with police.

I have to agree with you on driving normally, I don't drive fast and rarely ever go above 140 in my car. I just don't see the need to top it out. The acceleration isn't that fast at that speed so I'm not that excited about going from 140-200. Going through 1st-2nd-3rd fast is far more interesting than 4th-5th-6th..

^that's impossible. I could only top out at 130'ish in 3rd. Unless you changed final drive.

The guy that was speeding is a friend of a close friend of mine that I work with. Considering the fines, he is selling his Infinity, if anyone wants it lol.

The news has all been at his door constantly trying to get him to talk. But he wont. Maybe they should offer him some money, lord knows he has some fines to pay.

Absolute moron.

Hey, Canadian dudes! How' you doin'?! If my math is correct, that person was doin' around 152k+, right! D-a-n-g-e-r-o-u-s stuff, street racing. Folks who are willing to do that kinda speed should go to a race track. Risking other people's lifes IS NOT cool!

So I am assuming you would have to pay the guy and then he would pay to get the car out of impound?
