Well it was a great day at the track last saturday for another time with touge.ca
there was so many people and cars around which is nice to see .
I finally managed to do a faster lap than my best last year with 2:05.18

I got from many other drivers

Well done. I saw you out there! Katie and I were competing in the solosprint events at Shannonville on the weekend and got to watch the Touge lapping that evening. I was chatting with a couple of SR20forum members so didn't get talking to the 350Z owners who were there.

 

Nice! Now I wish I was there this weekend... that track looks like a blast, nice driving to! What the heck is flashing at you on your left guage? You're obviously on street tires judging by the sound, are they the stock Potenza's by any chance? Just wondering how well they hold at a 5 hour lapping event? I have only done autoX events so far so you don't get nearly as much heat in them obviously.

I'm all signed up for Mosport DDT on July 5th, anyone else going?

my left gauge was blinking because I was really low on gas , the only time I managed to do a fast lap was at around the end of the event , and since I didnt bring any gas jug with me , I went low on gas .


as for the tire , last year I did about 550-600kms of track with stock tire and around 20k kms *road*, Everyone says the stock tire suck for the track , the thing is I was still doing 40-45mins non stop lap at shannonville and my TimeTrial i did last year , i did it on the stock tire with 2:07 for the full track at shannonville , so i say they are good even if everyone says otherwise.

but this year I have BF Goodrich KWD2 255f / 295rear , and already 262kms done 2x at shannonville and plenty tread left (300 treadwear) I drive them quite hard on track
