Default canadian tires

What I found with my tires is that the tread blocks on the inside edge are cupped. So if you run your fingers along around the tire on the inside edge, you should feel the leading edges of the tread blocks.

FYI: they scratched my rims pretty badly (about a 2 mm ring of paint was scratched off all around the circumference of both front rims).. i'll probably need to put some silver touch up paint on it next spring...

I really wanted to stay and watch them do it, but I didn't have time so I went to work and picked up my car later... and by then it was too late... oh well... hopefully i won't need my dealer to mount and dismount my tires very often

Default Has anyone else

called Nissan Canada about this? I'm taking my Z in this week to replace the antenna (vandalized) and I intend to bring the subject up.

I'm confused a bit. Are some of you guys now experiencing pulling to the right after the alignment when you didn't have this problem before?

Default Just called the dealer

and they were fully aware of the problem. They've had three or four in already and he has me booked for tomorrow.

On the subject of tires, The service tech had not heard anything from Nissan about replacing tires.

I'll keep you guys posted. We need more threads on Canadian owners Z's

To clarify..

My car handled fine. No pulling to either direction, but the tires started to wear inproperly. So the dealer did an alignment and all 4 wheels were out of spec to varying degrees. Now they are aligned to Nissan spec, but the car pulls and the tires are starting to get really loud...

My parts are now in at the dealer and I am hoping to get the TSB work done before the end of teh month.

The first work was only an alignment. It is not part of any TSB. It was in response to the tires wearing.

The TSB for 'Tire Feathering' actually only states that the front tire should be swapped. They wanted to do an alignment first and then address this and the Pulling to the right TSB after.

I would have thought that the noise would only be associated to the wear...
