Parting out 2004 350Z convertible
Please let me know. Would you let me come down one weekend and install the DVD drive to trouble shoot my NAV system? If you do decide to part the NAV system out then I'll know it works.
back on topic... part the dvd drive to gyotar and the nav wire to me!
Where are u located?? I would like to come take a look at the seats....as well as the harness that comes with it to see if it matches up with the one under my carpet....I don't want to buy these and be unable to operate the power seats...
The car is located in Montreal just off Highway 40
Since he seems to be shipping everything.. the fact that nobody knows him on this forum and also that the car seems to be located in MTL..*Canada's re-VIN capital*.. I would be very concerned.
Also his location says toronto... but his car is in MTL?
Unless someone has physically met up with his person.. Buyer beware..

In short no you cant add a nav to a non nav Z. Its a huge undertaking and requires much more than installing a couple of wires. You need to rip the entire dash and back out which in iteself is a biggie. You then need to tap into the Z electrical system, not just plug something in. There are reasons why Nissan charges 4-5k to install one after the fact.

MTL the re-vin capital LOL
funny thing is Beauceville and the whole beauce area would be your re-vin capital of canada and thats nowhere near montreal. Just send your money through paypal and debate if ever he try's to screw you..... or even better.... CALL him up and actually talk to him prior to sending ANY money...
But so far he hasnt done anything wrong so why cant we just assume he's a legit and honest guy?
your were new and unknown to these forums at some point too.....

^LOL!..... This guy must be your friend.
Not saying he isn't legit.. its just that nobody on this forum knows who he is.. If I were buying something, I would be very cautious.
-He lists toronto as his location, but his car is in Que?
-How would he physically meet up with ppl for sales, when the car is in a different province.
-He is in Toronto, but is unable to deliver a RB to someone in Barrie?.. *again, car is in Que*
... I hope we don't see scammed threads popping up.

his friend???i only know a few Z drivers in quebec city not in Montreal even less in toronto. I dont know anyone who is parting out a Z and im not saying its not a little weird that the car and the guy arent in the same location. The weirdest part being he hasnt come up with an explanation yet.
ive had my car stay in a different city before for storage because it was hard to find a decent place around my place and it was cheaper to store it elsewhere.
And a cash face to face transaction always prevents scams thats why i usualy arrange a meet point when I buy or sell parts.

In all honesty, once he said the car is in Montreal, SCAM lights in NEON started flashing before my eyes. Which is unfortunate as I was hoping he was local so I can pick up the seats. The car seats in the car I am looking to get aren't that nice. This would have been perfect
Darkstreets, I can understand if you didn't find anything in your local town, and choose somewhere else nearby to store your car. But that example can't apply here. If you drove your car from Toronto to Montreal because you couldn't find anywhere else to store it, then I would say you are pretty damn loopy. That's not exactly an adjacent area.
Also, I really wouldn't just assume someone is legit and honest when things look sketchy....I might as well take a drive on the highway, roll down the windows, and throw out hundred dollar bills.
Always question first, you will find you will have less to regret later. He may be legit, perhaps his mechanic buddy that's making the drift car out of the chassis is in Montreal, and this was the only way to do it. But I would meet up with him in person for the parts, just to be safe. And considering I need to drive to Montreal to do this, I will have to pass. Unless he can bring them here if he goes to check up on his car in Montreal.

I frequently visit Montreal for business so if someone is really interested in these parts I could try to arrange to meet with the person and see the parts. I have met some of you on here down in Toronto and I met 2th pwr during his days up around this area.
I also attended the Speedstar meet last summer.
Actually going up to Montreal tomorrow so any takers let me know.

Don't buy anything from this guy, he won't take your money and give you nothing but he will sell you junk parts such as the "beautiful" bumper he sold me that had more dents, gouges and scratches than I could count with both hands. He was nice enough to drop the bumper off at my house I'll give him that, but him and his dad persuaded me into thinking some light sanding and touch up paint would do the trick. Anyways I paid $450 for body work and paint on top of high price I paid for the bumper.
Max, you are probably reading this and pissed... well so am I. I messaged you, called you (you changed your number or blocked mine), I gave you a chance to redeem yourself and you ignored me so I hope you sell nothing on here. The fact that you can reach thousands of potential buyers through this medium, you should have taken my advice.
