the demise of selene, my once faithful TT 350Z ...
wow... one of the nicest Z's literally gone in a blink of an eye. Reading your story really makes you put things in perspective.
Glad your ok bro... I'm looking forward to see what your future ride will be.

i looked into getting an accident report today and apparently i have to go there in person (somewhere in newmarket) and it costs $60
since when did they charge for an accident report?!

I called them, they don’t have the car they are a dealer. The car is going to dealer auction, they said they can buy it for you. Price, they didn’t know, they said that they go for $5000 - $6000.
But that’s for stock and I assume that it will go much higher than that.

Holy Mother! So sorry to see this happen to a beautiful Z.
Just a second or two earlier and the situation would have been very different for you.
A local guy here was hit and totaled his car. He was able to strip his part off the car at the insurance claims storage yard. They take a fork truck and put it in a garage with a lift. Then we stripped off the Greddy exhaust, and SSV intake and a few other items. The only rule that the claims yard had was that if we took an aftermarket part off, you had to leave a factory part in the car. So we stuck the exhaust and factory intake inside the hatch area and they were fine with that.
So if you still have a twin turbo kit on it, you are allowed to remove it and replace it with the factory manifolds and downpipes.
Just food for thought. (In case you need a buyer for the turbo, I'm in the market.)
Good Luck!
