Ok it's your car. 100% respect that.
If I bought it?
I would likely strip the kit and re-paint the car. If I had to keep it I would re-paint the body kit and car to match.
Wheels would be off 1st day, and replaced with something better. (I'm big into wheels)
I would buy some new '06 LED tails. Plain red.
All that vinyl stuff would be removed.
I would get a kit with no reflector in the front, if I had to keep the reflector I would put a plain clear corner or stock in there.
I would get a BBK, which is incidently what my own car needs.
The Nismo badge would be gone.
Annnd that would be the start.

Ok so here's what my actual plans are:
The car is going to get re painted this summer
As most would disagree with me, I'm keeping the kit BLACK
I did not want to do full Bumper replacements ( I've had them before, I think it's a nightmare)
Near Future Purchases:
LED Tailights-->Which I will Tint out
BBK--> Stoptech?
Catback Exhaust--> Undecided, could use a little help
Coilovers--> Still Undecided, need a little help
Larger Wheel--> Too many options
Sways--> Im thinking Top Speed, great price, Looks exactly like Cusco

Now lets get real Im not going to be doing all this in a months time, or even 4 months time, I'm looking about within a year all of that should be finished so by next summer is my goal.

Why would you buy a BBK for a car that's not tracked extensively or turbo'd? You don't need that kind of stopping power and you don't even have the right rims to 'show it off' even though most people would consider it a complete waste of money if you don't actually *use* it for what it is designed to do.

Upgrade to brembo package if you want, it's got more than enough stopping power unless you continually track your car, in which case it probably still does you'll need different rotors, fluids and lines though.

Besides, a stoptech 4-2 front rear kit will easily run you 3500$ all in, and it doesn't really perform much better than the brembo if you upgrade pads and rotors anyways.

I've never understood the phenomenon with BBK unless you're honestly completely balling or NEED one. a 'good' bbk front to rear will run you 5k. A sweet set of 19s volk/ssr/work etc w/ new rubber will run you 5k.

You're 10gs in right there, consider what the car is worth. Great if your car is brand new or you plan on keeping it forever but an 03 w/ 100k on the odometer? Doesn't add up in my mind, and if you ever want to re-sell you'll be taking a huge hit too.

The rest of the list sounds pretty good though.

Hey man, it makes sense, that's why I put a question mark beside Stoptech....Because I don't know, and believe me I do not claim to know a lot about my car performance wise.

Right now I am running Stoptech Cross Drilled / Slotted Rotors, with Hawk HPS pads and I have Stainless Steel brake Lines, Everything cost me $370 shipped, I didn't pay any customs because the guy put down low customs value for me.

To be honest, the stopping power is not that bad, I just kind of want the look of a BBK, my rotors and calipers seem small to me. Having much better stopping power really isn't my concern, I'm not gonna lie. I would be tracking it MAYBE 1-2 times a year. I just like the look of the BBK I suppose.

What do you suggest?

basha - If you must get a BBK buy the 370 Akenwhatever one. you can get the complete package for just over $2000USD I believe w/ stoptech rotors. It is larger than the standard brembo and I believe should exceed all of of your mentioned requirements .

I believe you will need larger rims however, clearance and rubbing issues with the caliper I would think with those on a BBK.

exhaust... everyone's got a nismo or a fujitsibo or an HKS lol, go on youtube and find something you like the sound of.... they all look pretty good once you start goinng entirely stainless steel... you may have issues with tips because of your kit however.

Ok honestly, this has nothing to do with quality or anything, but I do not like the sound of the Nismo or the Fujitsubo. I don't even like the way they look...

This was in no way intended, but the sound of Top speed dual, and Tsudo Dual I really like, and they are both so cheap! I also like the sound of the Invidia N1, but I think it looks ugly! I dunno man, like really I don't care if the exhaust last more than 3 years because by then I will probably get a new car.

I really don't mean to sound like I'm being "cheap" or anything but in a way I'm more attracted to the cheaper exhaust systems.

As per sways, Why would I go and spend almost double on Hotchis or Stillen, when I can get the Top Speeds as a great price? They were compared to the Cusco and are exactly the same, and the Cuscos are highly recommended from what I read.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not stuck on anything, if I can see the value in something better I would be happy to spend the money. Knowing I got a better product, maybe not cheaper but at a good deal.

Dude, why so defensive? You ask for suggestions then shoot them down. Based on how your car looks we are on a different page.

Goodluck

What am I shooting down?? I am taking all suggestions into consideration, But I too have opinions on them man. I just don't like the way the exhausts sound like.

I'm not being defensive at all, I am actually appreciative that you guys are helping me out. If you can give me just cause to spend more money I would, Im just putting my opinion in also you know?

yep, car looks better in person. wheels I think are the biggest aesthetic concern, but it looks good, I like your hood actually.

Are you running stock exhaust? i didn't actually get a chance to look, but it sounds louder than I remember? I don't think I know anyone personally who has stock on their car, so I am curious.

I have 2 questions however;

1) how're those smoked tail-lights with the peel region police? I know it's subjective i've debated smoking mine to match the k11 smoke of the kit and rims but I don't want the hastle...
2) do your xenons run daytime as default?

Good to see you man.

Honestly speaking, I absolutely hate it. It looks riced to hell. But that's just me. As long as you enjoy it is all that matters.

Hey man, are you the dude i saw on Hurontario today? If so your Nismo is gorgeous man, looks to sexy, so nice, I saw you about 4 cars back when we were stopped so I kinda slowed down to take a look. Really nice man, I couldn't really hear your exhaust to be honest.

Also, I agree I think my car looks better in person than in those pics.

Yes, I am running stock exhaust, the tailights I smoked myself using VHT Spray, they turned out pretty good, My car was really dirty today, I was going to Manadarin and heading to detail it right after. I ended up having a emergency call I had to go to, never ended up getting cleaned today , couldn't pass up the mandarin though lol.

I run them during the day as a habit / precaution, It's more for the tail lights because I do not want to get pulled over for them, you know what I mean?

As per tickets / Getting pulled over? I've never been pulled over with my Z as of yet for any reason *knock on wood*
