Default muffler

I believe the exhaust on my '03 is shot. It is sounding really raspy. I'd like to keep it stock. Any suggestions on where to look? Thx!

right on. How much are you looking for and location?

I'm thinking I might take it to noyzboyz to have it looked at first to make sure it is in fact the muffler, not a pipe.

took it to noyzboyz, turns out it was the exhaust flange. they cut the flange off and welded it..

Thanks for all the offers.. For now, my exhaust system is back to normal.

Exact same thing happened to my muffler a few months ago and I have an 03. Looks like the 03s are starting to show its age. How much did they charge? I ended up buying a used replacement for cheap.

You replaced the muffler or? What did it run you?

$60 sounds good. I thought it would cost a lot more to weld a new flange so I made a WTB posting on here and found a replacement for $40. It's not the best condition but if it last another year I'll be happy. Planning on going aftermarket eventually.

cool. they didn't weld a new flange, they cut the rusty one off and just welded a joining pipe, if that makes any sense. I'll see if I can grab a pic.
