Do Not Use the Bridgestone Tire Dealer on Kingston Road!
I just wanted to share my experience with the Bridgestone Tire Dealer on Kingston Road.
I recently picked up a set of Work XSA 02C that had one bad tire. The previous owner suggested I use this company as they have the equipment and the expertise to handle my wheels. For logistical reasons, I just couldn't commission a company driver to escort my wheels all the way down to Advanced Power House, so I went with it. I was quoted $45 to remove the tire and place a Micheline Pilot Sport I brought and $20 to mount the rest of the rims onto my vehicle.
When I arrived, I was sandbagged. I was told my cost shot up to $150, which caught me off guard. My driver already left, so I couldn't take them with me. I asked him "Why is it so expensive? I was told I would be charged $45 for the tire and $20." The manage replied with "seems like the person that answered the phone made a mistake. Sorry buddy, I don't know what to say. The owner quoted this one personally."
I begrudgingly accepted and had them put the wheels on. I just wanted to warn other owners about this shop to spare them of this terrible experience.

Holy ****, $45???
my shop swaps tires (removes wheels from car, removes old tires, remounts tire and cleans the wheel) for $20, we also usually bag up the old tires if you wanna keep them and stash them in the trunk.
Truly amazed, some people are shiesters.

I mentioned the original quote to the manager and it didn't phase them. They simply chocked it up to the ignorance of the person answering the phone. I'm not losing sleep over it, but it would be a shame to see other members get hit with something like this.
