i don't think you can repair patches on sidewalls... thats what i was told once, unless i was misinformed.

does this apply to low profile tires as well??

i really would like to repair it if possible!!

if i buy a new tire, i would need to buy two! and there is still about two seasons left on my rear tires

If anything it's more risky with low profile tires - smaller surface area means any damage increases structural instabilty and chance of blowout.

No shop (that isn't willing to close down tomorrow) will fix this because they don't feel like being sued if your tire blows out on the highway and ends up killing you.

While it's safe to patch anything on the tread not relatively close to the edge, you can't patch a sidewall. You are out of luck.

As others said, you cannot repair the sidewall. Get a new tire

Some places will try to repair it... but it can easily fail, which is why most places won't even try.
