Ontario Z Car Welcomes you to -DRAG EVENT

Drag n Shine # 1 2010 will take place at Toronto Motorsports Park this June 26.The track will open be between 9 and 10 am, test and tune starts at 11 am.
All cars will be tech inspected ,coolant catch devices must be in place. Drivers with cars capable of running sub 13 second ETs will need an approved helmet.
Our club members will be pitted on the grass on the south side of the track, near a blue building ,behind the small bleachers.This area has best access to
bleachers ,tech area ,staging lanes and bathrooms. There is race fuel on site, I'm sure its expensive. Guys with thirsty cars should show up full or with carry extra.
There will be motorcycle road races on the road course adjoining the strip
which could be interesting . At about 4:30 we will do a 30 minute cruise on Lake Eries shore line through Nanticoke over to Port Dover for Apres Race Festivities .
The venue is Calahans on the Beach Downtown PortDover with a superb LakeView ,Good food and Lots of parking.

The Ontario Z Car Club DRAG N SHINE #2 2010 will take place at Toronto Motorsports Park near Cayuga on Saturday September 18th. All are encouraged to come, its alot of fun even if you dont compete.
Gates open about 10:30 am, $10 for spectator/crew and $30 per car to race . Bring an approved helmet if your car is a convertable and/or will run sub 14 second Elapsed times.
All cars will be teched for any safety issues. No fluid leaks are permitted. Trophys will be awarded in all classes represented at both events #1 and #2, and will be presented at the OZC Christmas Social Event in November. At 4:00 pm we will do a 30 minute cruise West along the Lake Erie shore line to Port Dover for a meal at Calahans on the Beach ,
It really is on the beach with live palm trees. For directions to the race track see www.torontomotorsportspark.com There is a wealth of information available.
At the track we will assemble on the grass on the south side of the track near the small grandstand. This is the side of the track opposite the Timing/office Tower.
Its going to be fair weather according to the Tues. Sept 14 Environment Canada 6 Day weather forecast. Remember even if its raining in Toronto or London, by the Lake Erie north shore its often quite different.
