Default I got scram...

Seller ID: baka778

So I bought a set of 10mm Kics Project Spacer from baka778 and when I go to install it, found out there are at least 3 lugs are stripped

(lucky I can unscrew it after 30mins of try). And I msg back the seller via forum and cell phone few times, but no response at all. Here is his FS thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/east-canada...nze-lmgt4.html

Anyways, anyone have an idea where I can get the lugs?
I checked it, the part number should be W10125.

I searched and found few companies sell them (but all of their sites have same structure, just different banner), so I rather to buy it from vendor or order them local.

Thanks for any help...

sorry to hear. I dealt with him before when I sold something to him and it went fine, though that's not saying much.

arYip bought the spacers off me 2 weeks ago, then all of a sudden on a friday night around 2:30AM, thats right, 2:30AM, i got 3 sms from a him while i was sleeping stating 4 lugs are striped. I totally forgot about the sms until he sent me another one at 10pm about couple days later. I check my PM, he was stating 2 lugs were striped. Now he's stating that 3 lugs are striped? Also, my friend tried them on his Z and it fitted perfectly fine but he had to roll fenders therefore he didn't buy them off me.

So in this case, i can go and buy something off the forum, and 2 weeks later, tell the seller its not working and expect a refund?

I might not have much activity on this forum but anyone who bought parts/stuff off me can vouch for me. I wouldn't sell my parts if I still have my 350z. Sor bought the car off me, you can ask him how good condition the car was.

Yea right, now you claim in after I post the thread? And no response after I sent you two PMs and three sms? I can tell that you logged in here after I send you the pms, and still no response. I apology about I sent you the sms @ night. But you still do not reply another sms sent @ 10pm nor any pm.

The reason I install them late is I have to wait my another 20mm spacers arrive from US. Go to shop to install one set of spacer and go again after 2 weeks to install another spacer sound reasonable?

And actually, you can keep ignore me, because I found a replacement lugs for $40. If you let me know the lugs are stripped before I bought it, I would still buy it and find myself the replacement lugs for $40.

Not wasting few hours to go to the shop and uninstall the wheel and found out the lugs are stripped and spent an extra 30mins just to unscrew the lug and taking the chance to destroy the OEM studs.

And I do not care how good condition your 350z was.
I also bought few different things from forum members, like Frank, I did not want a refund because their parts are fine.
I bought the spacer off you, not the car or other stuffs, I concern about the spacers condition not your car.

Don't know if this will help much with the OP feeling like he got ripped off, but just thought i'd weigh in as well, since I also recently bought stuff from baka778 (bought his rims).

I haven't had a chance to install them as yet, so can't fully comment on their condition, but from my dealings with him so far I haven't had any reason to believe i was being misled. Updates to come once I have the rims on my car.

(I'm hoping that this helps us reach a state of fair representation for all parties involved...)

Even the rims are fine, doesnt mean the spacers he sold to me should be fine, isnt it?

Now I dun ask for a refund since I found a replacement lug I can purchase.

I posted this because I feel it wastes my time to go to shop to install nothing, and taking a chance to destroy my OEM studs.

I bought baka778s Z off of him about a month ago and he was a great seller, I don't think he would do this.

Did you check the thread pitch on both the studs and your lugs? Or did you just mash the lugs on...

It'll be more than apparent when looking at them, and why did you not test the studs when buying them?

Scram - an emergency shutdown of a nuclear reactor.
Scammed - swindled.
