I do.

There's only maybe 3-4 days when there's more than 10cm snow on the road, then I can't drive my Z because my ings+1 front lip will be plowing the snow.

Just make sure you get a good set of performance winter tires.
ie. Bridgestone LM-25, Dunlop Sport 3D, Michelin Pilot Alpin.

I remember when I told my dad I couldn't drive my E30 in the winter because it was a RWD coupe, and he said "what? You know, it snows in Bavaria..."

Anyway, yes, people winter drive their Z, just get a proper set of tires.

It depends on if you want to allow the salt and chemicals to eat away at your investment. Yes it is possible with Blizzak's or whatever but...
I bought a S14 for $3k w/winter tires/rims and it was a good decision imo. I love driving the 240 in the winter. I did eventually get busted for snow drifting though. The cop let me away with a few things, rolling a stop, speeding, and careless driving. I dont do it so often anymore.

I drive a Winter beater 2001 Olds Intrigue, BUT!
I also put on a Set dunlop winters on my Z and put the hood back to oem, I just can't walk out of my garage and see her not being driven....I usually drive it, I only drive the Beater if it's snowing hard. Last year was a breeze!

I drive a CRV in the winter and even during the summer when the Z is useless ie: shopping. Some ppl wouldn't mind driving the Z in the winter, I would never.

I happily drove mine for a couple winters. Weight the back down, get some nokian or blizzaks, and it'll be fine. I have the most fun with my car in winter.

Turn off vdc when you drive in the winter or you'll understeer bad on turns but don't turn it off if you can't control the rear end from spining out lol. I drive with vdc off and its a blast unless your stuck in traffic then its a bit scary with other cars around you and you know they can't drive
