Default WTB: Map DVD

Does anyone have the latest map dvd 6.9 for an 03? Or have you upgraded and have an extra 6.8?

I prefer original navteq dvds but I'd entertain a copy.

PM me cost.

Thanks,
Chris

If you could point out a download site and burning instructions I would appreciate it.

Just in case anyone is wondering:

2003-2005 uses 6 series DVD. Latest is 6.9 (2010-2011)

6.4 started coming with a firmware update CD along with the navigation DVD. I believe if you're making the leap from 6.3 and earlier, the CD is needed. The firmware CD never changed, so any one will suffice and it's a one time deal update.

2006-2008 uses 7 series DVD. Latest is 7.6 (2010-2011)

I don't know if NAVTEQ is updating any version these DVD's any longer. The newer Nissan units which use a hard drive to access maps are already on 2012. The new version of these DVDS are usually released in October or November. Looks like 6.9 and 7.6 may be the last versions.

Yup. ^^

Add an Apple CarPlay or Android Radio deck coupled with Nav of your choice. Probably cheaper than buying the already outdated map DVD. But then, not sure if the electronics on a Japan market car are different and would anything available stateside/Canada work? Hmmm, dunno.... And for that matter, would a US/Canada disc even work on the JDM car??
