I like going to this. Ontario z sets the stage for the biggest meet of the year and I really don't get why more 350Z's don't show up. Maybe they don't like being outdone by the older z's and not being center stage LOL. or maybe the guys on the east side of TO don't like to drive past the 400 to the west end as it does seem that way.

That said I don't think I will make it this year. (celebrating my xx birthday the day before and having a party) Maybe if I don't overdo it.

 

^ its also that its far, really far from where eastsiders live. but to sort of counterbalance that statement, theres a bunch of US folks that come from over the boarder for the show lol.

haha yeah the east enders don't like to drive much out of the area they might get out of their comfort zone.

To help win something you need to show up early to get votes from the other car guys before they hand in their votes. I didn`t take first last year i think it was second or something. It all depends on what the other car guys like for the day and when you get there to accumulate votes. Its all in good fun with an opportunity to meet up with other Nissan/Datsun fans. People do the voting, there is no judge that goes around and its mostly other Z car guys in your class that vote so..... It is nice to take home something or win for sure and they have draws for free stuff. Last year I won a GTR cap that was cool now I just need to win the car somehow to go with it. That would be a prize!

This is a full day but its up to you when you arrive and leave. Last year we had a couple guys drive in all the way from Montreal with their G's.


Mapleleaf, if I had a preference I would like to see the judging and prizes a little earlier, maybe 1:30-2pm. its a long day if you get there early to wait around to the end if you want to see if you won something and some people start to leave earlier.

does anyone know if we can leave at any time? I want to come out, but I need to be in Niagara by 2:00. which means I would have to leave around 12:30ish

i probably wont even go, to me its really not worth the drive, its a nice turnout but really boring.. or at least last year it was pretty boring..

 

i would definitely go and see some classic zs, but im in hong kong right now =(

 

i wish it was back at the Nissan headquarters again like 09, that was much closer to most of of.

The parking lot last year was full, do you have room for more 350s if they show this year?

I will be there by 11:30am.

The last Z-fest I went was the first year I got my Z back in 2006.
I finally got time this year to show up after being absent for 4 years.

 

I want to thank every one that showed up yesterday , it was great seeing those 350's & G's out. Everyone car looked great.
