Thanks for the compliment! Tires are Bridgestone RE-050A, 255 in the front and 285 in the rear. I did a couple of racing schools a long time ago and have done a hand full of track days over the past few years...got married and had a baby but now things are settling down so I'm planning on getting to the track a lot more next season...as long as the wife okays it of course!
OK so I was finally able to give tmp a fair shake.
Best continuous lap. 1:20.48
Best lap with start finish in real position 1:20.75
These are from different sessions. If I could be consistant enough to combine them I think 1:19's are going to be in reach.

No wing is still in the basement. I think the wing will be nice because if you watch the back end is still all over the place since I got the aggressive alignment. And I set the back up about as soft as it would go too.
Went to TMP last weekend for some practice prior to the upcoming cscs season opener. Nice cool day (12 celcius) and Was in a new (to me) 2006 350z on new Nitto NT05 tires. It took me a while to get used to everything and break in the tires. I blew the downshift into turn 1 killing alot of speed in one of the most critical sections. Anyways enough with the excuses of my weak sauce driving skills. I set a new PB of 1:23.46. Plenty of room left for improvement and should only get better once the tires start to come into their sweet spot.
For anyone who may be interested, I will most likely be selling the tires in the next month or so. If you are looking for a decent set of track, or even street tires for an excellent price stay tuned.

I think that's really good actually. I think you could carry more speed throught 10. and for some reason the mid corner in T1 dipped to 84 despite a good line. Mid corner in T2 as 91 which makes me think there is a bit more to be had in T1. But you were on the gas early and accelerating through the apex which is what you want to do.
I think it's just the limit of the tires. Might save .5 as a random guess in last two corners.
But you definitely aren't looking for seconds, you are looking for 10ths.

Thx for the feedback Mike! If you notice in the vid, heading into turn 1 I accidentally downshifted into 5th and then I got it into 3rd gear. It messed up my rhythm and killed my corner spead. As a result my speed down the next straight into turn 3 suffered.
BTW dont know why its all choppy watching the vid on this site. Clicking the actual youtube link sorts that out.

I went to mosport gp this past weekend. You guys call it MIR? They call it CTMP? Whatever the name, my second time to this track. g35 non brembo with an exhaust, carbotech pads and 285 rs3. 1:51
they changed the name last year I think .. MIR to CTMP because of Canadian tire partnership.
Mosport International Raceway was purchased by Ron Fellows and renamed Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.
As long as it sells a Mos burger and has Mos corner, it will always be Mosport
