Default Storage or Driving the 350z in winter

Just wondering who's got their cars stored and who's driving their 350z's in this years mild winter.

I bought my car last June and this is the first time ever for me storing a car over the winter, I'm dying to take it out early but will probably wait until the end of March.

last year it was stored from nov-march. This year I put insurance back on it around beginning of feb, and drive it when its nice out. Its not my DD though.

I dont drive it in the snow, and don't start it when its less than 0 out.

lol what bingbing said.

I DD my Z, snow or whatever. It has good Blizzak tires on it...RWD vehicles used to be the norm and people just dealt with it. That was before my time but I don't know what changed.

There has only been one time this winter when I felt uncomfortable driving. That was the first snowfall back in December and it was my first time driving a RWD in snow. Played around in a parking lot for a bit...couldn't be happier.

EDIT: I also put about 50lbs worth of salt in my trunk at the back, seemed to help a bit with traction.

I used to drive an E30 in the snow, and when people would say it was a bad winter car, I asked "you don't think it snows in Bavaria?"

I just have winter tires on other cars and not the Z, so there is no point. But bing makes a good point, only driving a car for 7 months a year sucks!

First year I had my z it was stock soviet put good winters on it and drove it in northern alberta. It did better then my ford f350 work truck in bad weather. Since I started modding it I stopped winter driving it. Also Alberta doesn't salt their roads like here in Ontario. That was a big factor. Car comes out of impound today.

Yes if I had another car at my disposal I would probably drive it over the Z in the winter.

But I'm not losing any sleep over it. It gets washed at least once a week at the touch-less wash with a good under body spray. Just can't wait to put my new rims and tires on her

My Z is a garage queen... I have another vehicle that is not afraid of ice, snow, or rain. However I plan on driving it a lot more this season and will most likely be taking it out mid March.

never once considered driving my z in the winter. factor in insurance, gas and km (i.e resale value) and a beater pays for itself. plus nice to have my corolla in summer for camping and what not. plus boosted and tunned in 25-30 degree weather then driving in minus temps, no thanks

Z hibernates in the garage. Unless they decide to sweep the streets earlier this yr, I don't plan taking it out until Apr. 02 CRV as a DD and camping/beach/hauling **** in the summer

Really do miss driving the Z though

both of my cars (G35 coupe and SR powered S14) have diffs (2 way and a 1.5 way) are lowered and have winters on them... no weight in the trunk.

they are awesome winter cars... way better than fwd.

winter-pigging is more fun than summer driving.

i actually look forward to calm cool evenings with fresh snow on the ground for some ripping... i dont see how you can be outside in that situation and think "i don't want to drive my real car... it might depreciate slightly more than it does anyways"

Don't bother with driving it in the winter mainly because of salt and sand. I Figure I may as well drive my company car (2012 Altima) in the winter.

Gots me a bone stock EK sedan for DD/winter driving. No way I'm subjecting my baby to the **** winters of Quebec.
