so how long do most people plan on sticking around, i wont be down till about 4, will there be any one around?

 

Not sure about 4. But I am guessing ya. If it starts at 12 prob hang out a few hours then go to beer rib fest for a few more hours. Cause going right after 12 is to early to hit up the fest. Ribs usually are not perfect till later in the afternoon, at least what I noticed in the past.

We go to Ribfest between 12:45-1pm for about an hour.
The latest this meet has ever lasted is about 3:30pm.

edit: The Ribs and Chicken are great early too. They cook them well before the event begins and reheat them on the grill.

 

So its not much of a car meet then? If it starts at 12 and 45min later you go to the beer rib fest. Most guys will prob show up late, more like a parking spot area?

Not sure how to take that. It reads like a statement with a question mark. Should I be offended

3.5 hours is good for most of us. An hour to eat and a couple hours to shoot the $hit about whatever. Most guys (in the past) have arrived when it starts.
If you want to come and stay longer that's entirely up to you. If guys don't want to drive from T.O. because they can't get here when it starts that's entirely understandable too.

 

You don't have to be beside your car 100% of the time to call it a car meet do you? Maybe... I guess... I don't know?

Sorry for the guys that can't make it earlier but I wont be staying as late a 4pm tomorrow. I will leave after my belly is full and I've had time to talk cars for a while.
I thought we waited a little longer before going for ribs last year not sure really I was not keeping track of time.
