Has anyone heard of this recall or had it rectified?

Recall Details
On certain vehicles, the circuit board for the crank position sensor may have an improper solder joint. This could cause the Service Engine Soon warning light to come on, create a no start condition, cause reduced engine power, or cause the engine to stop running without warning during vehicle operation. Correction: Dealer will replace the crank position sensors.

 

Haven't heard of that... and I just had my '03 serviced.

Did you get a notice in the mail? If it's a true recall, we should all be getting a letter about this...

 

Haven't received anything in the mail. Then again, Nissan is not very diligent. I found this by pure coincidence.

 

my dealer hasn't received this recall yet

 

My dealer replace mine in the spring. Nissian sent out a recall notice on our 2003 Sentra with the same problem. My dealer replaced the Z just incase.
