Default Vehicle Speed Sensor

I am considering purchasing a 5AT rear differential, and I wanted to know if I would have to screw around with the vehicle speed sensor, or if the VSS is actually located in the rear diff, so I wouldn't have to mess around with it?

(I thought I read somewhere that the VSS was in the rear diff?)

Thanks!

Chris

Gear change will not effect speedo.

The sensor measures speed at the wheel. Only smaller or larger rim/tire combo's will effect our speedo.
