Question TSB........ Rear Axle?

So...... I've had this 'metallic-clanking' sound for quite sometime now, but it can ONLY be heard when You're next to a wall or enclosure, only in 1st and only when initially taking off. My boy (who has a Z) says that it's the rear axle and that there is a TSB for this.
Any additional info/experience is appreciated.........?

Didn't mean to come off rude or anything...

But to answer your question... I change my tires pretty regularly. As a matter of fact.... I'm putting on some new meat TODAY.

Ok cool, your problem is the last time they changed you tires they left the "plug" valve stem in your tire. So when your wheel spins at just the right force, the stem falls and you hear the sound.

I had the TSB problem. In fact my dealer (Dick Scott of Canton, MI) even told me I had the prblem. I always heard the noise and though it was normal. They fixed it. They have to replace the rear lower bearings and a couple of other small parts. You need to push the point and remind them that they get paid from Nissan for the repair so don't they don't fight you. It takes one day for the fix. They have to rebuild the whole thing. Its not just a tightening job.
