Default Lean Problem and More

I have an 03 Z with intake, exhaust, headers and test pipes. Now my problem is everytime I mod the car, I feel a decent gain but then with all my combined mods it feels like it should have more power. I know for a fact that my car is probably running lean since I have absolutely no restrictions left in the exhaust system and judging by the # of posts I've read about running lean with these mods. Would a reflash take care of this problem? Also I'm pretty sure I'm running lean to the point where I'm afraid to use the juice anymore...haha. Will cams further lean out the mixture and do aftermarket cams and nitrous go well together or?

TIA.

I am going to assume you don't have an AF meter on there just yet?

If not, that's your first step... check it, and report back.

With headers and test pipes, I can almost guarantee you are running lean, WAY LEAN. Get that thing to a dyno and reflash to get back to 13.0:1 or so. Dont run that way very long, you wont like the results. The likely reason you dont feel the full benefit is due to the ECU retarding timing to stop knock from the lean mix. The sensors can detect it long before your ears can, so your timing is probably being retarded by 3-5 degrees under load.
