Any benefits from an oil cooler if you don't race?
Where I live the summers are ~ 90-95 degrees.

Benefits? Sure!

Vender .....makes money, boosting the economy.

Manufacturer ...ditto

Oil companies for selling more oil for your oil changes....ditto.

Looks cool, impresses chicks, resulting in a population explosion......ditto!

Without a thermostat, oil runs too cold, prematurely wearing out the engine......ditto!

Oil runs thick, resulting in more drag, slowing your car.......
